What Difficult/Complex Things are Happening In the Text?

In the book Matched by Ally Condie, and I absolutely love this book. There are many obvious problems happening in the text, such as Cassie rebelling against the Society( basically the government) and disobeying the law. There is also some complex things that are happening in this book.
For example, prejudging someone. It is not very obvious but in the middle of the book, after Cassie's grandpa died, the Society preserved a tissue sample of her grandfather so if they ever figure out how to bring back Grandfather, they can bring back Grandpa. But then after his death, Cassie's father held on to his dad's preserved tissue sample. After a few days when the Official came to collect it, it was gone! When Cassie first heard about this, she was so outraged. How can you lose the last thing that might be able to bring back Grandfather? She was unbelievably sad, but angry at the same time. Cassie felt much resent against her father for the first few days. But then she finds out the truth. Cassie's father was told by his dad to destroy the tissue sample because he didn't want the Society to decide his future even after he had died. Cassie knew that she had misjudged her father, and it was outrageous to believe that you would lose your own father's last possible chance of coming back to life. Even though things like this don't obviously happen in today's world, people misjudge others everyday! Was Cassie wrong for distrusting her own father?
Another place where difficult or complex things were happening in the book was the act of selfishness. When Cassie starts to fall in love with Ky, and thinks about running away with him, becoming an outsider, or breaking the rules, she first doesn't stop to think about her family and friends that she would jeopardize. Cassie really loves Ky, but would YOU put your friends and family in danger just because you love one person? It seems wrong, and immoral. But Cassie has trouble deciding. She has this good life, protection, a perfect life spread out for her even after she dies. Does she really want to throw that away for one guy?
In conclusion, there are quite a few of difficult and complex things that are happening in the book Matched. Cassie goes through the troubles that are similar to today's world, but in different scenarios. I really  do love this book. :)
